AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 18 0F 0RDIN-
ANCE N0. 548 NEW SERIES, BY ADDING A SUB-
DIVISION TEET0 TO BE KNOWN AS SUBDIVISION
BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL 0F THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SEG TI ON 1.
That Section '16 of Ordinance No. 346 New Series of the
City of Bakersfield, be mended by adding thereto a Subdivision
to be known as Subdivision 44, to read as follows:
44~. Importer of Goods, Wares, and Merchandise -
Shall be deemed to.mean every person, firm or corporation
that transports into the limits of ..t. hef Oity of Baker afield, goods,
wares or merchandise of any description whatsoever, and distributes
or furnishes' the sam to retail o5 wholesale dealers having an
established place of business in hhe said City of Bakers field, to
become a part of said retail or wholesale stock in said established
place of business.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers field
