be .known as Section 6-A. to read as follows:
SECTION 6-A.
No permit shall be firanted to any person. firm or corpora-
tion who has not been a resident of the City of Bal.~ersfield for a
period of one (1) year at the tLme t!~e a~plication is made for such
permit; and provided further that any person, firm or corporation
receiving such permit shall remain a resident of the :]ity of Bakers-
field during the duration of such permit.
