BE IT ORDAINED BY TIM COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKE~SFIEID, as follows: SECTION 1. That Subdivision 39 of Section 1V of Ordinance No. 591 New Series, entitled "AN ORDIN.~NCE REGULATING AND IMPOSING I~NICIPAL LICENSES; DESCRIBING HOW AND ~ WHO~'~ LICENSES AND P~IiMITS SHALL BE OBTAINED; MAKI~G A VIOLATION HEI{~OF A I~:-ISD~/~EANOR, AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY THEREFOR, /.~D REPEALIi,,~G ORDINANCE NO. 546, NE,~' SERIES AND ALL AI..~ENDMENTS THERETO, ~j~'D ALL OT}IE~ ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDIN- ANCES IN CONFLICT HERFj,~ITH" be and the same is hereby repealed. SECTION 2. That a subdivision to be known as subdivision 3-A be added to Section 1V of Ordinance No. 391 New .Series, to read as follows: 5-A. Bakery Products. For every person, firm, or corporation conducting or carry- ing on the business of distributing bakery products within the City of Bakers field, where the plant for the actual manufacture of said pro- ducts is maintained outside the limits of said City, the license fee shall be three hundred ($300.00)' dollars per year, payable in advance, for each and every vehicle operated and/or maintained in conduct of said business within the limits of said City of Bakersfield. Provided no license will be issued for a term of less than one year from the first day of the current .~uarter during which said license is issued. ..... o0o .....
