BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNC I~ OF THE CITY OF BAKERS FIEld','
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That subsection 41 of Section 1V of Ordinance No. 391
New Series of the City of Bakersfield, entitled "AN ORDINANCE
REGULATING AND IMPOSING MUNICIPAL LICENSES; DESCRIBING HOW AND BY
~q~0M LICENSES AND PERMITS SHALL BE OBTAINED; MAKING A VIOLATION
HEREOF A MISDEMEANOR, AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY THEREFOR, AND RE-
PEALING 0MDINANCE N0. 346 NEW SERIES AND ALL AMENDMENTS THERETO,
AND ALL 0T~ER ORDINANCES 0R PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE-
WITH." be and the sane is hereby mended to read as follows:
41_._~. Wrestll__~ and Boxing.
Any person, firm, corporation, club or association con-
ducting wrestling and/or boxing contests within the limits of the
City of Bakersfield shall pay to the License Collector of the City
of Bakersfield the sum of dollars
per quarter. Provided, however, in the event said contests are
held in a theatre building, operating as such and paying a license
therefor, the license for said contests shall be~~
dollars per c~Aarter in addition to the license paid for maintaining
and operating said theatre.
8EC TI ON 2.
That Ordinance No. 400 New Series of the City of Bakers field,
and all other ordinances or pa~ts of ordinances in conflict herewith
be and the same are hereby expressly repealed.
