AN ORDINANCE FIXING THE COMPENSATION OF
CERTAIN EMPLOYEES OF THE OITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That each of the employees working under the classifications
hereinafter named shall receive as and in full daily 'compensation for
performing the work of his or her position or employment, to which he
she now is or may hereafter be appointed, the mount set opposite
or
the
respective
classifications of employment, as follows:
1. COMMON LABORER........... .... ... ..... $4.25
2. SKILLED LABORER...................... $4.50
5. TRUCK DRIVER. .................... .... $4.75
4. TRACTOR OPERATOR (50 horsepower)..... $4.75
5. TRACTOR OPERATOR (60 horsepower)..... $5.00
6. ROLLER OPERATOR........... ...... ..... $5.00
7. GRADER OPERATOR.. ...... ... ..... ....., $4.75
8'° MOTOR SWEEPER OPERATOR.. ...... ....... $5.00

eight hour working day and when less time is worked per day the mounts.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of theCity of Bakersfield, at a regular
