AN ORDINANCE A~ENDING SECTION V4 OF ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 30 NEW SERIES, AND EEPEALING ORD-
INANCE NO. 306 NEW SERIES.
BE IT O~DAINED BYTE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section V4 of Ordinance No. 30 New Series be and the
same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 74.
The Tax Collector must collect, in addition to the taxes
due on the delinquent list, together with the penalties for delin-
quency, fifty cents on each lot, piece, or tract of land separately
assessed and on each assessment of personal property which shall be
paid to the City and be placed to the credit of the general fund.
SECTION 2.
That Ordinance No. 306 New Series of the City of Bakers-
field be and the same is hereby repealed.

I EREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
