AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 5 OF ORDIN-
ANCE NO. 304 NEW SERIES OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SEOTION 1.
That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 304 New Series of the
City of Bakersfield, California, be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows, to-wit:
SECTION 3.
The exterior boundaries of the territory comprising Fire'
Limits District Number 2, are hereby established, designated and
fixed as follows:
Beginning at a point in the westerly line of King Street at
its intersection with the first alley south of Grove Street in that
part of the City of Bakersfield formerly called Kern, as the same
appears on the map of Kern filed in the office of the County Recorder
of Kern County, April lO, 1893; thence northerly along said westerly
line of King Street to the southerly line of Jackson Street; thence
westerly along said southerly line of Jackson Street to a point SO0
feet east from the easterly line of Baker Street; thence on a line
parallel to the said easterly line of Baker Street to the southerly
line of Lake Street; thence westerly along said southerly line of Lake
Street to a point 200 feet west from the westerly line of Baker Street;
thence on a line parallel to said westerly line of Baker Street to the
southerly line of JacksQn Street; thence westerly along said souther-
ly line of Jackson Street to the easterly line of Tulare Street;
thence southerly along the said easterly line of Tulare Street to the
northerly line of said first alley south.of Grove Street; thence
easterly along said northerly line of said alley to the point of be-
ginning.
Excepting therefrom the southerly half of Block Ninety-
One (91) and the northerly half of Block One Hundred and Ten (110)
in tha~ part of the City of Bakersfield formerly known as Kern,
as the same appears on the Map of Kern filed in the Office of the
County Recorder of Kern County, April 10, 1893.
SECTION 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict here-
with are hereby repealed.

I BEHEBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield on the ~__~
day of March, 1935, by the following vote:
