WI~REAS, the daily operation of a municipal department
requires the passage of an emergency ordinance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUi,~CIL OF TPRE -
CITY 0,F BAtOERSFIELD, as follows:
SECTION 1..
' That Ordinance No. 466 New Series of the City of Bakers-
field,'.entitled: "AN 0RDIIq~-..NCE FIXING THE COMPt~NSATION OF CERTAIN
OFFICERS AI~.D EMPLOYEES OF TEE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AND REPEALING
0RDINt~NCE NO. 439 N~J SERIES OF THE CItY OF BAdGERSFIELD, AND ALL
0RDINI~YCES AND PARTS OF 0RDINA:-~CES ~'~MqrATORY THEREOF OR IN CON-
FLICT HEREWITH" be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
a subdivision to be knovm as Subdivision 50, of Section l, to read
as follows:
SECTION 2.
50. POLICE C0~RT CLERK AND STI~'0GRAPHER ........ $100.00
This ordinance is declared to be an emergency ordinance
within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter of the City of
Bakers:field, State of California, and necessary for the daily op-
eration of a municipal departnent, and shall take effect on and after
Hatch 10, 1936.
