AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING SECTION 9(a) OF AN ACT 0F THE
STATE OF CALIFORNIA ENTITLED "AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND
CONTROL THE DEPOSITS IN BANKS 0F MONEY BELONGING TO
OR IN THE CUSTODY OF ANY COUNTY, CITY AND COUNTY, CITY,
TOWN, MUNICIPALITY OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION WITH-
IN THE STATE, AND TO REPEAL ALL ACTS OR PARTS OF ACTS
IN CONFLICT WITH THIS ACT" AS AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 9(a) of an act of the State of California
entitled "AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND CONTROL THE DEPOSITS IN BANKS OF
~.IONEY BELONGING TO OR I~,T T}UE CUSTODY OF ANY COIR~TY, CITY AND COUNTY,
CITY, TOWN, NUNICIPALITY 0R OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVIS~0N WITHIN TEE
STATE, AND TO REPEAL ALL ACTS OR PARTS OF ACTS IN CONFLICT WITH THIS
ACT" be and the same is hereby adopted as an ordinance of the City
of Bakersfield by reference thereto, and the City Treasurer is
hereby authorized to conform therewith.
