AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 9 OF ORDIN-
ANCE N0. 218 NEW SERIES BY ADDING THERETO

BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 9 of Ordinance Number 218 New Serie~ of the
City of Bakersfield entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING THE BUSINESS
OF PAWN BROKERS, SECONDHAND DEALERS, SECONDHAND FURNIT~ DEALERS,
JUNK DEALERS AND JIR~K COLLECTORS; MAKING THE VIOLATION HEREOF A
MISDEMEANOR AND PROVIDING A PENALTY THEHEFOR AND REPEALING ORDIN-
ANCE N0. 48 NEW SERIES AND ORDINANCE N0. V9 NEW SERIES AND ALL
ORDIh~ANCES AND PARTS 0F ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEPuE'~iTH" be and
the same is hereby amended by adding thereto a subdivision to
be known as subdivision (f), which shall read as follows:
(f). It shall be unlawful for any person to furnish
false information in connection with the sale, or exchange, of
any goods sold to any second hand dealer, second hand furniture
dealer, pawn broker, junk dealer, or Junk collector.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
