AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 1V OF 0RD-
INANCE NUMBER 3gl NEW SERIES BY ADDING
THERETO A SUVDIBISION TO BE KNOWN AS
SUBDIVI SI ON 43.
BE IT 0EDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance Number 391 New Series of the City of Bakers-
field, California, entitled "AN ORDINANCE REGULATING AND I~TPOSING
MUNICIPAL LICENSES; DESCRIBING HOW AND BY WHOM LICENSES AND PERMITS
SHALL BE OBTAINED; MAKING A VIOLATION HEREOF A MISDEMEANOR AND PRES-
CRIBING A PENALTY THEREFOR, AND REPEALING ORDINANCE N0. 348 NEW
SERIES AND ALL AMENDI~NTS THERETO, AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES OR PARTS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERE~TH" be and the same is hereby amended
by adding to Section 1V of said Ordinance a subdivision to be known
as Subdivision 43, which shall read as follows:
43. Antique Shops.
Every person, firm or corporation engaged in conducting
and/or keeping an antique shop shall pay a license fee of Five ($8.00)
per quarter.
SECTION 2 ·
All ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby expressly'repealed.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakers field on the ~7~
