AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINA~CE NO~ 20 NEW SERIES
OF THE CITY OF BAKEHSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, BY ADDING
THERETO SECTION 7a, PROHIBITING THROWING, SWEEPING,
OR OTHERWISE PLACING UPON THE STREETS AND GUTTERS
WITHIN SAID CITY, WATER, LIQUIDS, SWEEPINGS, RUBBISH,
LEAVES OR OTHER REFUSE.

SECTION 1.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as
That Ordinance No. 20 New Series of the City of Bakersfield,
California, is hereby amended by adding thereto Section 7a, to read
as follows:
Sectional.
Any person who throws, sweeps, or otherwise places upon any
street or streets, or alley or alleys, or gutter or gutters, within
the City of Bakersfield, any water or other liquids, other than rain-
water which has fallen upon the sidewalks or drained thereto, or any
sweepings, rubbish, leaves, grasses or other refuse, is guilty of a
misdemeanor.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular meeting
