BE IT ORDAI]'~D BY THE COU~.vCIL OF THE CITY OF BAIO~2SFIELD,
That Subdivision 12 of Sectlcn 17 of Ordinance No. ~12
New Series of the City cf Bakersfield, entitled "AN 0RDIiqANCE
REGULATING .!~ INPOSING ~YNICIP~L LICENSES; DESCRIBING HOW AND BY
~0N LICENSES AND PERNITS SI~LL BE OBTAINED; NAKING .A VIOLATION
HEREOF A NISDENEANOR, AE~ PRESCRIBING. ~ PENALTY THEREFOR, AND
REPEALING 0RDINL~NCE N0. 391 k~L~ SERIES AND ALL ~DME~S THERETO,
AND ALL OTER ORDINANCES OR P~RTS OF 0RDIhLINCES I). C0~LICT HERE-
WITH" be and the same is hereby amended to read as fellowe:
12t C-leanors~ ~ For every person, firm or corporation conduct-
ing or carrying on the business of Dry Cleaning, where the plant
for actual work of dry cleaning is maintained outside the city limits
of the City of Bakersfield, but doing business within the city limits
of said City of Bakersfield, the license fee shall be the s~unof
Fifty Dollars ($~0.00) ps? yea~, payab!o in advance, for each and
every delivery vehicle maintained in conduct of said business.
Provided, no license ~ill be issued for a term of less than one
year from the first day of the current quarter during which said
license is issued.
SECTION 2.
That Subdivision 2~ of Section 17 of Ordinance No.
New Series of the City of Bakersfleld, be and the same is hereby
amended t~ read as follows:
2~. Laundry, Steam, and/c? Linen Supply: For ove~'y person,

or corporation conducting cr ca~ying on the businane cf Steam La~adry,
Towel and/or Linen Supply, whero the plant for actual work of
laundering is maintained outside the city limits of the City of
Bakersfield, but doing business within the city limits of the
said City of Bakersfield, the license fee shall be the sum of
Fifty Dollars ($50.00) per year, payable in advance, for each and
every delivery vehicle maintalnsd in conduct of said business.
Provided, no license will be issued for a term of less than one
year from the first day of the current quarter during which said
license is issued.

passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at
