HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD NO 587 EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO.~__~ NEW SERIES AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REGULATING THE USE OF PARKS WITHIN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD BETWEEN THE HOURS OF TWELVE O'CLOCK MIDNIGHT AND FIVE O'CLOCK A. M OF ~.ACH DAY. · WHEREAS, the City Council hereby declares that an emergency exists for the immediate preservation of the public safety, peace and property, which requires the passage of an emergency ordinance regulating the use of parks within the City of Bakersfield, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows: SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person or persons other than duly authorized employees or officers of the City of Bakersfield, or employees or officers of the Recreation Commission, to be in or upon any park within the City of Bakersfield between the hours of 12 o'clock midnight and ~ o'clock A. M. of any day. SECTION 2. This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter of the City of Bakersfield, California, and necessary for the immediate preserva- tion of the public safety, peace and property, and shall take effect immediately upon its passage by the Council of the City of Bakersfield --- -o0o ...........
