S~TION 1.
That Section ~6 of 0rdimnce No. ~4 Hew Series of the City of
Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby ameMed to read as follows:
S~TION ~6. The Tax Collector must mark the date of the payment
of a~ tax, or the partial pa~ents as the case may be, in the assess-
ment book or roll opposite the proper assessment. A parti~ payment
may be made separately from the whole assessment on ~ lot, piece or
· parcel. If such lot, piece or parcel does not have a separate v~uation
on the assessment roll, the Tax Collector sh~l submit a description
of the fractioml part of the lot, piece or parcel to be paid, to the
City Assessor who shall place a valuation thereon, which v~uation shall
include the value of the improvements located upon the fractional parcel
to be paid. The proportiomte part of the taxes aM petalties against
such fractioml parcel shall be computed and entered on the assessment
roll by the Tax Collector.
