AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING 8ECTION 1 of ORDINANCE
N0. 683 NEW SERIES OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIEI~, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to provide for the daily operation of
municipal departments,
NOW, TEEREFORE, BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
8ECTiON 1.
That Subdivisions 11 and
New Series of the City of Bakersfield entitled ~AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ESTABLISHING A BASIC SALARY OR WAGE FOR OFFICERS AND
EMPLOYEES OF SAID CITY AND REPEALING B~.~RGENCY ORDINANCE N0. 862 NEW
SERIES OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA" be and the same are
hereby amended to read as follows:
11. CITY CLERK AND AUDITOR ........................ $220:00

SECTION
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby expressly repealed.
8ECTI ON
This ordinance is designed to provide for the daily operation
of municipal departmentss and is hereby declared to be an emergency
measure and shall be in full force and effect ~mmediately upon its
pas sage.
I HE~RY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regn-
lar meeting thereof held on the 20th day of August, 1945, by the follow-
ing vote:
