BE IT 0BDAINED BY THE COUi\~IL OF THE CITY OF BAI~SFIELD,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
It shall be unlawful for any person under the age of twenty-
one (21) years, to have in his or her possession, or to consume,
any alcoholic beverage,as the same is defined under Section 2 (b)
of the &lcoholic Beverage Control Act of the State of California,
Stats. 1935, page 1123, and amendments thereto, while in or upon
any street, alley, dance hall, or other public place in the City
of Bakersfield, California.
SECTION 2.
Any person violating the provisions of this ordi~euce shall
be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be
punishable by a fine not to exceed $300.00, or by imprisonment in
the County Jail for a period not to exceed ninety days~ or by both
such fine and. imprisonment.
I HERO, BY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, on the 29th day
of July, 1946, by the following vote:
