BE IT ORD. AINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAEERSFIE~D,
as follows:
SECTION 1 6
That Section 19 of Ordinance No..?03 New Series of the City
of Bakersfield, be and the same is'hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 19. RATES FOR TAXIC.AB SERVICE. The rates or fares
to be charged the .public by taxicab carriers shall be as follows:
(a) Thirty Cents (S.O~) for the first one-half (1/2) mile or
flag drop; Ten Cents (10~) for each additional one-half (1/2) mLle,
or fraction thereof. The waiting time rate shall be Two Dollars
($2.00) per hour, or Ten Cents (10~) for each three (3) minutes.
(b) There shall be no charge made for extra passengers.
(c) There shallJ be no extra charge for hand luggage.
(d) The above rates shall apply to any area within five mile~
from any exterior boundary of the City of Bakersfield.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that 'the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the.CouncLl, of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the ?th day of April, 1947, by the following vote:
