WHE~AS, the City Council h~reby declares that an emergency
exists for the immediate preservation of the public peace, property,
safety and welfare, which requires the passage of an emergency ordi-
N0Wt TNEREFOBEt BE IT 0P, DAINED BY THE COUNCI~ OF THE CITY OF
BAKEKSFI~Dj as follows~
SECTION 1 o
That Subdivision (f) of Section 104 of the Un~form Building
Code, 1940 Edition, as adopted by the Pacific Coast Building Off. icials
Conference at the 6th Annuel Meeting, October, 1927, with aevisions
and Additions approved at the l?th Annual Meeti~r~, October, 1939,
as.published May 1, 1940, printing of May, 1940, which was adopt, ed
and amended by Ordinance No. 682, New Series, of the City'of Bakers-
field, Califorr~a, be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance
within the meaniD~ of Section 24 of the Charter of the City of Bakers-
field, State of California, and D~cessary for the ~mmediate preserva-
· .rich of the public peace, property, safety and welfare, and shall
take effect immediately upon its passage by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield.
I HEREBY CERTIF~ that the foregoing Emergency Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
at a regular meetl~ thereof held on the 23rd day of ~une, 1947,
by the following vote8
