BE IT 0RDAIHED BY T~E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF B~RSFIE~Dt
as follows s
SECTION 1.
That there is hereby levied a tax of seventy-five cents
($.?~) on each one hundred dollars ($~00.00) of the asaessed
valuation of all taxable property in the City of Bakersfiald~
County of Kern~ State of Californ~at for mun~cipal expenses of
the Mun~cipal Government of said City (exceptin~ as hereinafter
mentioned) durinE the fiscal year beg.~nn~r~ w~th the first day of
July~ 1947~ and endin~ with the thirtieth day of June~ 1948.
SECTION 2.
That there is hereby levied a tax of twenty-fou~ and 'one- .:-
half cents ($.24%) on each one hundred dollams ($~00.00) of the
assessed valuation of all taxable property ~n the City of Bakers-
field~ County of Kern~ State of Callforn~a~ for Capital Outlay durin~
the fiscal 'year beglnn~ with the first day of July, 1947, and ..-
endin~ with the thirtieth day of June, 1948. '
SECTION 3-
Tb~t there is hereby levied a tax of one cent ($oQ~) on each
one hundred dollars ¢~00;00) of the assessed valuation off al~
taxable property within the City of Bakersfield~ County of Kern~
State of Californ~a, for the Recreation Comm~ssion, dumir~ the fiscal
year be~lnr~n~ with t~e first day of July~ 1947t and eD~tin~ with the
thirtieth day of June~ 1948.
SECTION 4o
That there is hereby levied a tax of twenty and one-half cents
($.205) on each one hundred dollars (~LO0.O0) Of the assessed
valuation of all taxable property within the City of Bakersfield,
County of Eern, state of California~ for Parks and Playgrounds
during the fiscal year beginning with the first day of ~u~y, 1947,
a~ ending with the thirtieth day of ~une,
SECTION
That thoro is hereby levied a tax of thirteen cents ($.l3)
on each one hundred dollars (~LO0. O0) of the assessed valuation of
all taxable property in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of Califor~La, for Collection and Disposal of Refuse dur. ing
the fiscal year beginning with the first day of ~uly, 1947, and ending
.With t~e thirtieth day of ~une~ 1~48.
~hat there is hereby levied a tax of five cents ($.05) on each
one hundred dollars (~LO0.O0) of the assessed valuation of all taxable
property in the City of Bakersfield, County of .Kern, .State of Cali-
fornia, for the contribution of the City of Bakersfield to the Fire-
men's Disab~.~ity and Retirement Fund during the fiscal year beginning
with the first day of ~ulyt 1947, a~ endl~ with the thirtieth day
of ~une, 1948.
SECTION 7,
That there is hereby levied a tax of thirteen and one-half cents
($.135) on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property ~u the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of Californ~a, for the contribution of tho City of Bakersfield
to the California State Employees' Retirement System du~in~ tho fiscal
yea~ beginning with the first day of ~uly, 1947, and ending with the
thirtieth day of ~une,
SECTION
That there is hereby levied a tax of one and one-half cents
'($.~L5) on each one hundred dollars (~LO0.O0) of the assessed valuation
of all taxable property within the boundaries of the City of Bakers-
field, County of Eern~ State of California, as sa!d.....~oundaries were
fixed and determined on the 22nd day of Ma~ch~ 1923, for interest
and sinking fund on 1912 Sewer Bonds d.uring the fiscal year beginning
with the first day of July~ 1947~ and ending with the thirtieth day
of June, 1 948.
SECTION 9.
That there is hereby levied a tax of one cent ($.~) off each
one hundred dollars ($100. OO) of the assessed valuation of all taxable
property within the boundaries of the City of Bakersfield! County of
Kern, State. of California~ as said boundaries were fixed a~l deter-
mined on the 22nd day of March, 1923, for interest and si~ng fund
on the 1912 City Hall Bonds during the fiscal year beginning with the
first day of July~ 1947~ and endiD~ with the thirtieth day of June,
1948.
SECTION 10.
That there is hereby levied a 'tax of one-half cent ($.00%) on
each one hu~red dollars ($lOO.OO) of the assessed va~uatlon of all
taxable property within the boundaries of the City of Bakersfield~
C0anty of Kern! State of California! as said boundaries were fixed
and ~et. ermined on the 22nd day of March! 1923~ for interest and si~ng
fund on the 1912 Fire Department Bonds during the fiscal year beginning
with the first day of July! 1947~ and ending with the thirtieth d~y
of June! 1948.
SECTION 11 ·
That there is hareby levied a tax of nine cents ($.09) on each
one hundred dollars ($100.00) of the assessed, valuation of all taxable
property within the boundaries of the City of Bakersfield~ County of
Kern~ State of 0aiifornia! for the Fire Alarm System during .the fiscal
year beginning with the first day of July~ 1947~ and ending with the
thirtieth day of June~ 1948.
