,AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR ADDITIOI~L
COMPENSATION FOR OFFICE~S A~
OF T~ CITY OF B~SFI~D~ C.~IFORNIA.
BE IT O~AII~D ~Y T~ COUNC~ OF T~ CITY 0F
as follows:
SECTION 1.
Each officer and employee of the City of Bakersfield, as
set forth and en~erated in Section i of Emergency Ordinance No. 700
New Series~ as amended~l receive and be paid out of the Treasury
of the City of Bakersfield, an addition~ compensation of Twenty.
Dollars ($20.00) per month for performing the duties of the office,
offices or employment named therein, to which he or she is or may
be appointed or employed~ to be paid to such officers and employees
commenci~ January l~ 1958, said compensation to be in addition to
the compensation provided for by the wage rate set forth in said
Emergency Ordinance No. 700 New Series as amended~ and in addition
to the addition~ compensati0n~grovided for in Emergency Ordinance
No. 728 New Series.
SECTION 2.
Each employee of the City of Bakersfield working ~der the
classifications named in Section 2 of Emergency Ordinance No. 700
New Series~ sh~l receive as compensation for performi~ the 'work of
his or her position or employment to which he or she is appointed,
addition~ compensation of ~even Cents (ll~) per hour for each
hour worked, to be paid to such employees begi~i~ January l~ 1958~
said compensation to be in addition to the compensation provided
for by the reg~ar hourly wage rate set forth in Section 2 of Emergency
~O~d-i~n~e NO~ 700 New S~ri~s-~~ and~ in addition to the~addition~
compensation provided for in Emergency Ordinance No. 728 New Series.

I B_~HEBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 1st day of December, 1947, by the
following vote:
