AN ORDINANCE ~d~E~ING SECTION 15 OF ORDI-
!~NCE NO. ~ ~V S~IES~ OF T~ CITY OF
BE IT ORD. AII~D BY T~ COUNC~ OF T~ CITY OF B.~RSFI~D~
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 13 of Ordinance No. ~6, New Series, be and
the same is hereby amended to read as follows:
Section 13~ .~l of the provisions of the "S~es and Use Tax
Law," Part l, Division 2 of the Revenue and Taxation Code of the State
of C~ifornia~ as ~ended and in force on December l, 19~7, except the
provisions thereof pertaining solely to the Use Tax a~ Sections 60~
60~2, 60~3, 6066, 6067, 6068, 6069, 6070, 60~, 6~, 6~9, 6~91, 6901
to 6937, inclusive, 69~, 70~2, 70~6, ~O1, ~02, ~03, ~, ~2 and
~3~ applicable to s~es o~property at
retail,
are
hereby
adopted
and made a part of this ordinance as though f~ly set forth herein,
and ~l provisions of a~ other ordinance in co~lict therewith are
inapplicable to this ordi~nce and the tax hereby imposed. ~l of the
provisions of the C~ifor~a "S~es and Use Tax Law" hereby adopted~
providi~ for the performance of offici~ action on the part of the
State Board of Equ~ization, sh~l be performed by the Treas~er of the
City of Bakersfield. The City of Bakersfield sh~l be deemed sub-
stituted for the State of C~ifornia whenever the State is referred to

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
