AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE REPEALING ORDII~AI~CE
NO. 576 NE%V SERIES OF THE CITY OF BAKERS-
FIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS~ the City Council declares that the immediate preser-
vation of the public health~ peace~ property and safety requires
the passage of an emergency ordinance repealing Ordinance No. ~76
New Series~
NOW~ TN~.REFORE~ BE IT' 0RD. AINEDBY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'
BAKERSFIELD, as follows:'
SECTION 1.
That Ordinance No. %76 New Series of the City of Bakersfield.,
be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance is hereby declared to' be an emergency measure
within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter of the City of
Bakersfield, aD~ necessary for the immediate preservation of the
public heal.th, peace, property'and'safety, and shall' take effect
immediately upon its passage.
· I HEREBY CERTIFY that the.foregoing Emergency Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the l%th day of March, 1948, by the
following vote:
