SECTION 5 OF EMERGENCY ORDINANCE NO. 681

BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF B.~SFIE~D, as
follows:
SECTION 1.
That subsection 47 of section % of Emergency Ordinance No. 681,
New Series of the City of Bakersfield, be and ,the same is hmreby amended
to read as follows:
4?. Schools, o_~f Gosm. etoloz¥. Every person~ firm or corporation
engaged in conducting and/or operating a school of cosmetology, as
defined in Section 18 of "An Act Concerning Cosmetology" approved.
May 1, 1927, as amended, shall pay to the License Collector of the
DOLLARS
City of Bakersfield, a tax of
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall be effective on and after July 1, 1959.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoS~ug Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council ~f the City of Bakersfield~ at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the 24th day of January, 1948,~by t'he following vote:
