BE IT ORDERED BY THE COUNCIL oF THE CITY OF BAF3~SFIELD,
· a s follows:
Section 1
That Section 2 of Ordinance No. 6~8, New Series, be
and the same is hereby 'amended by adding thereto a new definition
to read as follows:
HOLiDAYS--The first, of January, thirtieth of May, fourth
of July, first Monday in September, Thanksgiving Day, and the
'twenty-fifth of December. Whenever any of the aforementioned days
falls on a Sunday, the following. Monday shall be considered 'a
holiday within the meaning of this ordinance.
Section 2.'
That subdivision 4 of subsection (a) of Section 47 of
Ordinance No. 6~8, New Series~ be and the same is hereby amended
to read as follows:
4. Green shall mean no standing or parking for longer
than the time indicated by appropriate lettering on the curb, or
upon a sign, which time shall not' exceed thirty minutes. The ·
restrictions which apply to green time limit parking zones shall
apply between 7:00 A.M., and 6:00 P.M., of any day except Sundays
and holidays unless·'there is legibly stenciled appropriate lettering
on the curb or sign to indicate that parking restrictions are
effective for a longer period.
