.AN ORDINANCE .A~,.~NDING THE DISTRICT ~AP
ADOPTED BY SECTION 2.1 OF ZONING 0RDI-
N. ANCE' NO. ~Ol~ N~ SERIES OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD ~ C.AL IFORNIA.
~VPr~REAS, in accordance with the procedure specified by
the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 501, New Series~ the Plan-
ning Commission and City Council have held hearings on a petition
and a resolution of said Planning Commission to change the "District
Map" adopted by Section 2.1 of said ordinance, and
W/tEREAS, the City Council has determined after due con-
sideration that certain cha~ges in said Map should be authorized.
.N0~V, THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That the District Nap made a part of Zoning Ordinance No.
501, New Series, be amended by 'changing .the district boundaries
so as to include the following described territory in an M-1 (Light
Industrial) District:
Lots i to 32 inclusive in Block 213; Lots 17 to 32 inclus-
i~'e in Block 214; Lots 22 t'o ~2 inclusive in Block 229;
Lots l? to 32 inclusive in Block 2~30; Lots l? to 32 in-
clusive in Block 231; Lots i to 2~ inclusive in Block 232;
Lots 2 to 16' inclusive in Block 233; Lots i to 16 inclusive
in Block 236; .and Lots i to ll inclusive in Block 237; all
in the Kern Division as shown on the "Map of the City of
Bakersfield, Kern Cqunty" r. ecorded January 12, 1889~ in
Map Book l, pages l~ and 16~ Records of the Recorder of
Kern County~ California.
