.ADOPTED .BY SECTION 2.1 OF ZONING ORDI-
NANCE NO. %01, NEV~ SERIES OF THE CITY
0~ B.~J~F~RSFIE~D, CAL IFORNZA.
V~HEREAS, in accordance with the procedure specified by
the provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. %01, New Series, the Plan-
ning Commission and City Council have held hearings on a petition
and a resolution of said Planning Commission to change the "District
Nap" adopted by Section 2.1 of said ordinance, and
'.WHEREAS, the City CounSil has determined after due con-
sideration that certain changes in said Nap should be authorized.
NOV,~, THEREFORE, .BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAi~RSFIELD, as' follows:
SECTION .1.
That the District Map made a part of Zoning Ordinance No.
501, New Series~ be amended by changing the district boundaries
so as to include ·the following d~scribed territory in an R-2
(Two FamilY Residential) District:
Lots lO-16.and a portion of Lot 9 containing the west
18.~7' of said Lot on the north, measured along the
south-line of Pacific Street and the west 18.~0' of
said Lot in the south measured along the north line of
the alley between Oregon and Pacific Street in Block 9
of .Alta Vista Tract No. 2, and Lots lO-16 and the west
18.S7' of Lot 9 in Block 2, and -the north ~6.$0' of
Lots 9-16 including only the west 18..I~9' of Lot 9 in
Block ~ of the .Alta Vista Tract No. ~ as shown on the
Map of the City of Bakersfield, Kern County, recorded
April 9~ 1926~ in Nap Book 3~ Page 160.
SECTION 2.
That the District Map made a part of Eoning Ordinance No.
~01, New Series, be amended by changing the district boundaries
so as to include the following described territory in an M-1
(Light Industrial) District:
That certain property including Lots l? and the north
11.$0' of Lot 18 in Block ~ of .Alta Vista Tract No. ~
as shown on the Map of the City of Bakersfield~,Kern County,
recorded .April 9, 1926, in Map Book ~, page 160.

SECTION 3.
That the District Map made a part of Eoning Ordinance No.
%01, New Series, be amended by changing the district boundaries
so as to include the following described territory in a C-2
(General Commercial) District: .
Lots 22-2~ in Block 9 of Alta Vista Tract No. 2, as
shown on the Map of the City of Bakersfield~ Xe~n
Cou_nty~ recorded April 9~ 1926, in Map Book 3, Page

I HEREBY.CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the Sth day of April~ 1959, by the following
