(C) OF ~ECTION 9.0F E~ERGENCY 0~DINANCE NO.
794, NEW SERIES..
~, the City Council finds that it is necessary to
provide immediately for additional personnel in the working force
of the city and that an emergency exists making it necessary to
provide for the daily operation of a municipal department.
NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT 0BDAINED. BY THE COUNCIL 'OF THE CITY
.OF B~FI~.D, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Subsection (c) of Section 9 of Emergency Ordinance
No. 794, New Series, be and the same is hereby-amended by adding
thereto two new classifications with their respective rates of .pay
per month to read as follows:
kan Checker (Part time) . . . . . . . . . $200.00
Planning Engineer (Part time) , . . .... $200.00
SECTION 2.
This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter of the City of Bakers-
field~ State of California~ and necessary to provide for the daily
operation of a municipal department, and. shall be effective on and
after May 1, 1949.
