.AN ~.RGENCY ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBSECTION
(a) OF SECTION 9 OF ORDINANCE NO. ?~4 ~
· SEBv~..6 OF THE CITY .OF BAE~.RSF~.D.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is necessary to
provide immediately for additional personnel in the working force
of the c. ity and that an emergency exists making it necessary to
provide for 'the daily operation of a municipal department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNC~L OF THE. CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, as followsl
SECTION 1.
That Subsection (a) of Section 9 of Emergency Ordinance No.
?94 New Series, be and the same is hereby amended by adding thereto
a new classification to read as follows~
20 Utility Maint enanceman
SECTION 2.
· This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
within the meaning of Section 24 of the Charter· of the City of Bakers-
field, Sta'te of California, and ~cessary.to provide for the daily
operation of a municipal, department, and shall be effective on and
after. ~uly
I P~.~Y CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a 'regu-
lar meeting thereof held on the llth day of ~uly, 1~49, by the follow-
ing vote~
