'~'~HERE~S~ a .petition was filed with the Council of the City of
Bakersfield on the 12th day of June~ 19gO~ requesting that certain
~%Inhabtted territory therein described be am%exed to and included
within the incorporated limits of the City of Bakersfield~ and
Wt~/1E~S~ said petition was signed by the owners of one-fourth
of the land~ by areal'and by assessed value as shov~ on the last
equalized assessment roll of .the county of Xern~ and
%%';~REaS~ the territo~"y described in said petition is contiguous
to the City.of Dakersfield~ and
';~REdS~ the Council of the City of Bakersfield did~ on the
12th day of J%u%e~ 19~0~ pass a resolution, in compliance-with the
previsions of the Ammexation of Uninhabited Territory ~ct of 1939,

boundaries of the territory so proposed to be annexed to the City of
Bakersfield~ and designating such territory by an appropriate identi-

NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT ORDaI~W~D by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield~ as follows g
SEOTION 1°
.That the Council of the City of Bakersfield hereby approves
th~ annexation and inclusion within the incorporated lfmits of the
City of Bakersfield~ of that certain uninhabited territory designated
as Real Acres~ being situate in Section 3~ Township 29 South~ Range
2~ East~ M. D. B. & M.~ and more particularly described as follows~
Beginning at a point ~in the westerly line of Co%~ty Road
No. 68~ also known as Real Road~ as said road was declared.
a public highway by action of the Board of Supervisors ·
of the County of Kern~ State of California~ on October 10~
1887~ as e~v~denced by minutes of the said Board of Super"

said Board .of Supervisors on file in the office of the
