AN ORDINANCE APPROVING ANNEXATION OF A
PARCEL OF UNINIIABITED TERRITORY TO TIlE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, AND PRO-
VIDING FOR TBE TAXATION OF SAID TERRITORY
TO PAY THE BONDED INDEBTEDNESS OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS,' a petition was filed with the Council of the City
of Bakersfield on tl~ 2nd day of August, 1951, ~equesting that
certain .uninhabited tek,itchy therein described be annexed to
and included within the incorporated limits of the City of
field, and
%~£~.~REAS~ said petition was signed by the owners of ohs-fourth
of the land, by a~ea, and by assessed value as shown on the last
equalized assessment r~ll cf the County of Kern$ and
WHEREAS, tb~ ter~itcxU described in said petition is contigu-
ous to the City of Bake~sfield~ and
W;~REAS, on the 2nd day of August, 1951, there was filed in
the office of the City Clerk of the City .of Bakersfield, a w~itten
consent, signed by all the owners of property included in said
te~ritox-y, that said territory snd the p~operty located therein
be subject:ed to taxation after the co~.r, eletion of such annexation
equally with p~ope~ty in the City o:~ Bakersfield to pay the bonded
indebtedness of said City therein described, the issuance of bonds
to ~epresent said indebtedness being provided fora in Ordinance
NCo '893 New Series of the City of Bakersfield, and this Council
hereby determines that said consent is signed by all the o~me~s
of p~operty included in said territory~ and complies in evex-y
Pespeet ~th the p~ovisions of Section 3~319 of the ~ove~nment Code
of the State of Californiae and
WHEREAS, 'the Council of the City of Bakersfield did~ on the
6th day of August, 1951, pass a resolution in compliance with the
