AN ORDINANCE AI~NDING SUBSECTION 1 OF SEC~'iON
6 OF ORDINANCE NO. 681 NEW SERIES OF THE CITT
OF BAI~RSFIELD, CALIFORNIA'
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
SECTION l.
That Subsection I of Section 6 of Ordinance No. 6S1 New
Series of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended
by adding thereto a subdivision to be known as subdivision (~), to
read as follows:
(~) For one cent (l~) fortune telling machines or mechanical
asnwer boxes, a license t ax of fifty cents (60~) shall be paid
semi-annually for each such machine.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the~ foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adppted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of March, 1962, by the follow-
ing vote:
