~N ORDINANCE CHANGING THE NAME OF
KERN ISLAND ROAD TO SOUTH H STREET.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
The name of that certain public highway now known and desig-
nated as "Kern Island Road," .extending in a southerly direction
from Brundage Lane to Planz Ro'ad and being the southerly extension
of H Street, is hereby' changed to "SOUTH H STREET."
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City. of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof h.eld on the 21st day of January, 1952, by the follow-
ing vote:
AYES: CARNAl(IS, SAUNDERS, SHURLEY, SUITH, SULLIVAN, VANDERLEI, VEST
