BE IT ORDAINED by ~be Council of the City of Bakersfield,

The .name of 'that certain public, highway nc~ known and idesig-
·nated as "Kern Island Road," .extending' in a southerly direction
'f~om Brundage Lane to Planz Road and being the southerly extension
of H Street, is hereby changed to "SOU.TH
I ~EREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was. passed and
adopted by the. Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regula~
meeting' ther'eof held on the 21st day of Januarys. 1952, by the follow-
