AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SUBDIVISION (a)
OF SECTZON 8 OF ORDINANCE NO. 879 NEW
SERIES BY ADII NG THE CLASSIFICATION OF
CHIEF MECHANIC (WORKING).
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield~
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That subdivision (a) of Section 8 of Ordinance No. 879 New
Series of the City of Bakersfield is hereby amended by adding thereto
a new classification, with appropriate schedule number to read as
follows:
28 Chief Mechanic (Working)
~ECTION 2.
This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days from and
after the date of passage thereof.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the forego~u~g Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the 20th day of October, 1952, by the following
