AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE OF THE REGULAR
MEETING OF ·THE COUNCIL OF SAID CITY AND
REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 280 AND ORDINANCE
NO. 948 NEW SERIES OF THE CITY. OF BAKERS-
FIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield
as follows:
SECTION 1,
On and after the 18th' day of May . , 1953, the
regular weekly meetings of the Council of the City of Bakersfield
shall be b~ld in tb~ Council Chamber in the Bakersfield Police
DePartment Building (City Hall Annex), 1620 Truxtun Avenue, in
said City, at 8 o'clock P. M., on Monday of each week throughout
the year except when Monday shall be a legal holiday, in which
event the Council shall meet at 8 o,clock P. M., on the following
Tuesday ·
SECTION 2.
That Ordinance No. 280 and Ordinance No. 948 New Series
of the City of Bakersfield and all other ordinances or parts of
ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3 ·
This ordinance shall take effect thirty days after the
date of its passage.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 13 day of .April , 195-3,
by the following vote:
