AN ORDINANCE NAMING CERTAIN STREETS
LOCATED WITHIN ORO VISTA PROJECT
CAL 8-6, IN THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, there is now being developed in the City of Bakers-
field a certain housing project k~own as Oro Vista Project Cal 8-6,
and
WHEREAS, as a part of the development of said project certain
streets have been laid out therein for use by the public, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Council that said streets
shall be properly named in conformity with the general street plans
of said City.
NOW, T~.RE~0RE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
SECT ION l.
That those streets running northerly and somtherly through
and near 0to Vista Project Cai 8-6, from Owens Street to the easterly
boundary of said Ore Vista Project, shall be. known as Northrup Street,
Robinson Street, Clyde Street, Miller Street and Lakeview Avenue,
respectively~ as said streets are shown on a map of said project on
file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Bakersfield;
that that certain street running easterly and westerly through said
0to Vista Project, as shown on th~ aforementioned map, shall be known
as llth Street.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted b2 the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
m~eting thereof held on the 5th day of October, 1953, by the follow-
ing vote:
