ORDINANCE NO 1041 _ NEW SERIES
z AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.01 OF ZONING_
ORDINANCE NO.- 1010, NEW SERIES OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, BY CHANGING THE ZONING OF
THAT CERTAIN PROPERTY NORTH: OF COLUMBUS AVENUE
AND WEST OF MT. VERNON AVENUE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the
provisions of' Zoning Ordinance No. 1010; New- Series, of the City
of Bakersfield, the Planning Cpmmission and City Council have held
hearings on a petition to change the zoning of certain property -within
said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has. determined after due 'considera-
tion that said 'zoriing change should be authorized.
NOW,, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED .BY THE COUNCIL OF 'THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD,- as follows:
SECTION 1.
Thai; Section 3.01 of Zoning Ordinance No '. 1010, New Series
of the City .of Bakersfield be and the same- is hereby amended by
chariging the .zoning of certain property in said City, as follows:
(a) Changing the zoning boundaries from an Interim R=1
(One-Family Dwelling) Zone t-o an R-2 (Two-Family Dwelling)
Zone of that property described as follows.:
Lots 53-56, inclusive, .and.' 70-73- inclusive, and 111-•124
inclusive as shown on the Tentative Map of Tract No. 1797; .
being more-particularly described as commencing at the South:-
east corner of Section 16, . T 29 S. , R 28 E. ,. M'. D. B. & M.
