.AN. ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3,01 OF ZONING
ORDINANCE NO. 1010, NEW SERFES; OF .THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD, BY 6HANGING THE ZONING OF THAT
CERTAIN PROPERTY LOCATED ON CHESTER. AVENUE 'BE�
TWEEN 5TH AND 7TH STREETS.
WHEREAS,, in accordance with the procedure se.t forth in the
provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1010, New -Series,: of. the City of-
Bakersfield,, the - Planning Commission and City. Council have hel&`11mar-
ings on a petition to change the zoning of certain proper tT'Within
said City, :and . :
WHEREAS, 'the City Council has determined., after• due considera-
tion that said zoning change should be authorized,'
NOW, TH ,.EFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY-OF
BAKERSFIELD, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.01 of Zoning Ordinance No, 1010, New Series of
the City of Bakersfield, be and the same 'is hereby. amended by changing
the zoning of cei rtain property in said City, As follows:
Changing the zoning boundaries .friin a C-1 (Limited
Commercial) Zone to a C-2 (Commercial') Zone of that
property described , as follows:
That c.ortain property fronting on Cheater Avenue be-
tween 5th and '7th streets being more particularly
described as Lots 9-16, inclusive Block .70; Lots
inclusive, Block 71; Lots 1-A, inclusive, Block
-74; and hots 9-16, inclusive, Block 75; 'all in Lowell
Addition, City of Bakersfield, as per map recorded
November. 25, 1898, in Map Book 1, Page s ' 13 and 14,. in
the,- offie-b of the County Recorder, County of Kern,
State of California.
SECTION 2.'
