BE IT ORDAINED BY'-THE COUNCIL° OF--THE CITY OF 50MRSFIELD,
as. follows:,
SECTION .'1.
That Section 2- of Ordinance Noi, 1043, Neer: Series of ,the
City of Bake:bsfield 'be -and the. same is hereby amended to read as
'follows:
Section: 2.. The purchasing agent shall be appointed by .the '
City Council and shall be subject to the administrative -direc.tion
of the ' City Manager.
SECTION 42-0
This ordinance • shall be effective thirty' days from and
after -the date of , its passage.
