Ali ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 4 OF ORDINANCE
NO. '.879, NEW SERIES, OF -THE CITY OF BAKERS
FIELD, BY ADDING. THERETO A NEW SUBDIVISION TO
- BE DESIGNATED AS (c) .
BE IT ORDAINEV by the. Council of. the City of Bakersfield, as. ,.

SECTION_-1.. .
That Sect_on 4 of Ordinance- No. -879.; New Series of the City of
Bakersfield, 'be and' the same is hereby 'amende-d by adding thereta: a new
subdivision to-::'be, de-signat&d as •(c), which said subdivision .shall read'
as follows
(c)• Whenever any employee of 'the City.'is assigned-temporarily to.
a,higher classification an4/o'r schedule, he'' shall, at .the termination
of his service in said higher 'classification or schedule, be.. returned
to his. original classification and placed in. the. step' to which he would
have been entitled hail he .not been so temporarily assigned.
SECTION 2.
Thfi .Ordinance shall take effect -thirty days from acid after the.
