AN ORDINANCE OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT
TO THE CONT!~ACT BET~[EEN THE SAID CITY
COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION
OF iTIE CALIFORNIA STATE EMPLOYEES' RETIRE-
MENT SYSTEM o
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
That an amendment to the Contract between the Council of
the City of Bakersfield and the Board of Administration, California
State Employeas' Retirement System is hereby authorized, a copy of
said amendment being attachod hereto, marked "Exhibit A," and by
such referenc.~ made a part hereof as though herein set out in full.
SECTION 2o
The Mayor of the City of Bakersfield is hereby authorized,
empowered, and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf
of said City.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after
the date of its passage, and prior to the expiration of fifteen days
from the passage thereof, shall be posted on the Bulletin Board in
the City Hall, 1501 Truxtun Avenues Bakersfield, California°
