BE.IT ORDAINED by the Cour~cil of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
SECTION 1.
..... That Section 1 of O'~nance No. 642, New Series of the City
-~ of Bakersfield be and the s~.-~z.~e is hereby amended to read as
fellows: ..
Sectiou 1. It shall be unlawful for any person under the
age of eighteen (18) yea~s to loiter upon the streets in the City
of B~ks~sfi,~ld, or be in p]~co~ of amusement or entertainment or
'~- in'other.p~lic places in said City, between the hours of l0
o'Clock P. M.,. and 5 o'clock A. M., of any day, unless such person· '-
i~ accompanied by 'a Parent, guardian or other adult person having
cont~o! .o~' cha~ge of such person under the age of eighteen (18)
yem~s; or ~less such person ~uder the age of eighteen. (18) years
shall have"gone to'a place of entertainment or amusement, other
than'one at which, liq~:o? i~ sold or served, prior to 8 o'clock
P. M., whore a regu5a? program or evening's entertainment shall
