provisions of Zoning Ordinancc ?.!o. 1010, New Series of the ~i.ty of "

ORDINANCE ~0. 1273 NEW SERIES
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.01 (ZONING
MAP) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1010, NEW SERIES OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, BY CHANGING THE
ZONING OF CERTAIN 'PROPERTY IN SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the
provisions of Zoning Ordinance No. 1010, New Series of the City of
Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the zoning of certain
property within said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due considera-
tion of said petition and the recommendations of the Planning Com-
mission herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the
hearings for a change of zoning of said property, that said zoning
change should be authorized.
NOW, ~{ERE~0RE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.01 (Zoning Map) of Zoning Ordinance No. 1010,
New Series of Nme City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby
amended by cha~Eing the zoning of certain property in said City, the
boundaries of wl~ich property are shown on the map hereto attached and
made a part of this ordinance, as follows:
Changing the zoning from an R-2 (Two-Family Dwelling)
Zone to a C-2-D (Commercial-Architectural Design) Zone,
of the following described property:
That certain property in the City of Bakersfield located
on the Southerly side of East California Avenue at the
intersection of Brown Street, commonly known as 1441 East
California Avenue, more particularly described as follows:
Lots 43 and 41~, Tract 1320, City of Bakersfield, as per
Map recorded December 26, 1946, in Map Book 5, Page 197,
in the office of the County Recorder, County of Kern,
State of California.
SECTION 2o
This ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after
the date of its passage.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 28th day of December, 19~9, by the
