THE CITY OF RA~XF~SFIELD, BY CIiA~GING THE.
ZONING 0F C~.]~TAIN .PROPERTY IN SAID
WHEt{E.~S, in accordance with the procedure set forth in
the provisions of Zoning Ordio..ancc No. 1010, New Series of the City
of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council have held
hearings respectively, on a petition to change the zoning of certsin
property within said City, and
%,..qiEREAS.~ the City Council has determined after due considera-
tion efLsaid petition and the recommendations of the Planning Commis-
sion herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hear-
ings for a change of zoniog of said property, that said zoning change
should be authorized.
NOW, THE'~R~FORE, B1.'.'. IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That SeCtion 3.01 (Zoning Map) of Zoning Ordinance No. lO10,
New Series of the City of B~,k6rsfield, be and the same is hereby amend-
ed by changing the zoning of certain property in said City, the bounda-
ries of which property are shown ,:n the map hereto attached and made
a part of this ordinance, as follows:
Changing the zoning from an R-3 (Limited Multiple-Family
Dwelling) Zone to a C-O (Professional Office) Zone, of
the foil.wing described property:
That certain property in the City of Bakersfield,located
Northerly of 1st $]treet and 'Easterly of "H" Street, being
more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the Southwesterly eorner of Block "Q",Lowell
Addition, City of Bakersfield, as per Map recorded November
25, 1898, in Map Book l, Pages 13 and 14, in the office
of the County Recorder, County of Kern, State of California,
which point is also the intersection of the Northerly
line of 1st Street with the Easterly line of "H" Street;
thence Northerly along the Easterly line of "H" Street
a distance of 25~.2~ feet; thence Easterly and parallel
with the Northerly line 'of 1st Street a distance of
132.0 feet; thence Southerly and parallel with the
Easterly line of "H" Etreet a distance of 50.0 feet;
thence Easterly sod parallel with the Northerly line of
let Street a distance of ~.~ feet; thence Southerl~ and
parallel with the Easterl~ line of "H" Street a distance
-' of 20~.2~ feet to tho Northerly' line of 1st Street;
thence Westerly along the Northerly line of 1st Street

SECTICN 2.
