E~ER~ENCY ORDINANCE NO. 1093, l~g ~EP~ES~ OF
THE CITY OF BAI(ERSFIELD, AND P~EPEAL~NG EHE~-
GENCY ORDINANCE NO. 1258, NE~ SE~ES, OF S~L~D
CITY.
~r~EAS, an emergency ex~sts, making it necessary to provide
for the daily operation of a municipal department.
NOW, TBE~EFOBE, BE IT 0RDA~NED bT the Council of the City of
Bakersfield~ as follows:
SECTION lo
That Section 2 of Emergency Ordinance Nco 1093p New Series of
the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended to read as
follows:
(a) Transit Au~hority employees who a~e placed in the follow-
ins olassifications~ shall receive the hourly rates of compensation
respectively, as follows:

(b) Transit Authority employees in the classifications listed
below shall receive monthly rates of compensation as follows:

(c) Transit Authority employees in the classification listed
below shall receive the hourly rate of compensation set forth as
follows:

SECTION 2.
That Ordinance No. 12~8, New Series of the City of Bakersfield,
be and the same is hereby repealed.
SECTION 3,
This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure
within the meaning of Section 24 of the Cha~ter of the City of Bakers-
field, State of California, and necessary to provide for the daily
operation of a municipal department, and shall be effective on and
after the 1st day of ~uly, 1960o

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Ordinance was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a
regular meeting thereof, held on the 27th day of June, 1960, by the
following vote:
