That Ordinance No. 12~8, New Series of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby repealed. SECTION 3, This Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure within the meaning of Section 24 of the Cha~ter of the City of Bakers- field, State of California, and necessary to provide for the daily operation of a municipal department, and shall be effective on and after the 1st day of ~uly, 1960o ---0o0--- I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Emergency Ordinance was passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 27th day of June, 1960, by the following vote: AYES: B~N..Z. ~gTT~EY, CARNAKIS.
