AN ORDINANCE AMENDING PART 8, C-O (PROFESSIONAL
OFFICE ZON~ OF ORDINANCE NO. 1C~0~ NEW SERIES OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
SECTION lo
That PART 8, C-O ZONE of Ordinance No. lO10, New Series,
of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby amended to
re ad as follows:
SECTION 8o01 "USES PERMITTED"
A° Any use permitted in the R-l, R-2, and R-3
Zones.
SECTION 2°
SECTION 8Q04 "SIDE YARD"
None, except all buildings used exclusively for dwell-
ing purposes shall comply with the provisions of the R-3 Zone.
SECTION 3 o
SECTION 8.05 "REAR YARD"
There shall be behind every building a rear yard having
a minimum depth, of twenty (20) feet. Where there is an alley at the
rear of the lot, such rear yard may be measured to the center of said
alley° All buildings used exclusively for dwelling purposes shall
comply with the provisions ~of the R-3 Zone.
SECTION 4o
SECTION 8.06 "YARD REQUIREMENTS"
None, except all buildings used exclusively for dwell-
ing purposes, shall comply with the provisions of the R-3 Zone°

This Ordinance shall be effective thirty days from and
after its passageo

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular
meeting thereof, held on the llth day of July, 1960, by the follow-
ing vote:
