AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 3.01 (ZONING MAP)
OF ORDINANCE NO. 1010, NEW SERIES OF THE CITY
0F BAKERSFIELD BY ZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY BEING
ANNEXED TO SAID CITY.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the procedure set forth in the
provisions of Section 21.00 of Zoning Ordinance No. 1010, New Series,
of the City of Bakersfield, the Planning Commission and City Council
have held hearings respectively, on a petition to zone certain
property now being annexed to said City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined after due considera-
tion of the petition and the recommendation of the Planning Commission,
herein on file, together with the reasons advanced at the hearing for
the zoning of said property, that said zoning should be authorized
upon annexation of said property to the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, as follows:
SECTION 1.
That Section 3.01 (Zoning Map) of Zoning Ordinance No. 1010,
New Series of the City of Bakersfield, be and the same is hereby
amended by extending the boundaries of said map to include certain
property in a C-2-D (Commercial-Architectural-Design) Zone, upon
the annexation of said property to the City of Bakersfield, the
boundaries of which property are shown on the map hereto attached
and made a part of this ordinance, and are more specifically described
as follows:
That certain property in the County of Kern located
on the Westerly side of South "H" Street Southerly
of Planz Road, being more particularly described as
follows:
The Southerly one-half (S. 1/2) of Lot i and all of'
Lot 2 excepting therefrom the Westerly 852 feet,
Section 13, Township 30 South, Range 27 East, M. D.
B. & M., Sales Map No. 1 of Lands of Jo B. Haggin
as per map recorded May 3, 1889, in Book "M", pages
'5, 6 and ?, in the office of the County Recorder of
Kern County, California.
SECTION 2.
This ordinance shall become effective upon the annexation
of the above-described territory to the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 29th day of August, 1960, by the
following vote:
