AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 8.?2.040 OF CHAPTER
8.?2 (SEWERS--USE AND CONNECTIONS BY NON-RESIDENTS)
OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
BY ADDING THERETO A NEW PART TO BE DESIGNATED AS
(f) (6).
BB IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
SBCTION 1.
That Section 8.?2.040 of Chapter 8.?2 of the Municipal Code
of the City of Bakersfield be and the same is hereby amended, by
adding thereto a new Part to be designated as (f) (6), as follows:
Whenever any real property served by the City Sewer System
under a sewer rental contract is within a territory where annexation
proceedings have commenced the City Engineer shall be authorized, in
his discretion, to collect sewer rental charges on a quarterly basis.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 19th day of December, 1960, by the
following vote:
