AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
ACCEPTING THE REQUIREMENTS OF SECTION 13~22
OF THE PENAL CODE RELATING TO TRAINING OF
LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
SECTION 1o
The City of Bakersfield declares that it desires to qualify
to receive aid from the State of California under the provisions
of Chapter 1 of Title 4, Part 4 of the California Penal Code.
SECTION 2.
Pursuant to Section 13~22 of said Chapter 1, the City of
Bakersfield while receiving aid from the State of California pur-
suant to said Chapter 1 will adhere to the standards for recruit-
ment and training established, by the California Commission on Peace
Officer Standards and Training.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Ordinance was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meet-
ing thereof held on the ~8.~hday of November, 1960, by the following
